10x 5KM LAPS
Take on Ten Trails of Garigal — a 10-lap challenge on a 5km loop through winding singletrack and rolling elevation. Each lap starts every 45 minutes, and you’ll need to finish within that window to start the next. Miss a lap? Rest, reset, and jump back in on the following one. Whether you’re aiming for a few laps or all 50km, this is your chance to push your limits in a supportive, scenic trail setting.

Take on 10 laps of a 5km trail loop, with a 45-minute cut-off per lap. Miss one? Rest, then rejoin.
With solid elevation gain each lap, these rolling Garigal trails will test your legs, lungs, and mindset.
Finish fast, and you’ll have extra recovery before the next lap. Go too hard, and you risk burning out.

Aid stations to keep you on track and fuelled for the entirety of the run.
The 5km loop will be marked to guide runners around the course.
We have teamed up with St Johns Ambulance for all first aid needs on the day.
There will be catering available for purchase throughout the event.
Top placed male and female will be awarded a prize from our sponsors.
Everyone gets a participant medal after completion of the event.

We run a no plastic policy. Please bring your own refillable water bottles. There are bubblers available at the Acron Oval and we will have water drums to fill up you water.
As the event is during the winter months, we recommend bringing extra layers as it can get cold out on the trails and if you’re waiting around for the next lap to begin.
Parking is available on the residential streets around Acron Oval. Public transport options to the Event Centre are limited, but there are buses that stop just outside the oval.
The main registration area will be set-up on the Acron Oval. You won’t miss us!

Yes we will have St John’s Ambulance at the event site.
Yes you can transfer your ticket either online or at the event to another participant.
For online, please head to your Active MyEvents account to transfer the ticket.
For on the day, please ask the new participant to bring the original event booking email, and we will process the request at the registration counter.
Please note there is a $20.00 admin processing cost for any ticket transfer.
In general we don’t refund tickets for change of mind cancellations. However we understand life gets in the way so please contact us direct for any cancellation requests.

The condition is characterised by low blood serum levels of an essential protein made in the liver, that protects lungs from progressive tissue destruction.
Although its prevalent among 1 in 9 Australians, it often remains undetected. Treatment is also very expensive (over $100,000 per year for life), making it financially unaffordable for many and leading to a reduced life expectancy.
Alpha-1 Org are the only active charity in Australia advocating for the condition. All donations will go towards supporting the charity in growing their footprint in Australia.
